About

Hello you,

Since you’re here, I think it’s safe to say that you’re probably wondering who I am, and what it is that I am doing with this blog.

Well, first of all, I am not sure pinpointing my blog is gonna be too easy.
But for you, I’ll try!

I want this blog to be all about traveling the world, learning about unknown cultures and experiencing nature that is so breathtakingly beautiful that you do not believe your own eyes.
But… since I am currently bound to Copenhagen, Denmark, where I am studying History and Cultural Encounters at university, this blog will – for now – consist of one big lovely mixture of the adventures I have already been on and still daydream about daily, and all my dreams of all the adventures I will (hopefully) soon get to experience.
This will all be topped with a dash of my everyday life as a poor student in Copenhagen.

The center of this blog will be my photos. I love how much a photo can say, and I’m constantly doing what I can to become better and learn more about my Camera and all the possibilities that modern photography offers. I am currently using my beloved Canon Mark 5D ii, and sometimes my one plus 3t.

Obviously my words will also play kind of a big role here on the blog.
I have always been very fascinated by words, and what they can do to us.
And I have a habit of tying my stories to small moments and descriptions of specific feelings or experiences.

What else do you need to know about me?
Oh yes, I am 22 years old, and my name is Nanna Vedel-Hertz. If you can’t tell by my name – I am female. But honestly, who cares?
And yes – in case you’re wondering – Nanna is my real name, it is not short for anything, and I know this is probably what a lot of you call your grandmas.
In Denmark Nanna is a very common name and honestly? I love my name!
There’s just something about the sound of it that makes me feel cheeky.

I hope you’re gonna stick around and see what I have to offer.
And I also hope you have a wonderful day/night/morning wherever you are in the world.

with love,
Nanna
